An ongoing series of Early Morning Iyengar Yoga Intensives are offered at the Yogaha studio in Ripponlea, on the South side of Melbourne. Yoga Intensives help consolidate your practice in a fun, supportive and friendly environment.
Intensive workshops are designed in a way to deepen your personal practice, establish a deeper level of commitment to the work and develop skill in relaxation to aesthetics, sensibilities and their application.
You need not be super flexible or extremely experienced! What is needed is a willingness to learn and a commitment to your personal development.
December 18th – 21st – Backbend Intensive
Tuesday – Friday, 6:00am-8:30am
Come celebrate the end of the year in our annual Backbend intensive at Yogaha.
The backbend shape represents a ‘turning in’, it asks that we access the back of the body. The “dome” shape points to an understanding of energy absorbed into the spine, unlike the contortionists folding or wedging of the spine. Our bodies and minds are transformed for lightness, buoyancy and whole-heartedness.
January 2nd – 5th – New Year Intensive
Wednesday – Saturday, 7:00am-9:00am

We commence at 7.30am on Sunday 26th May and conclude at 6pm on Saturday 1st June.
