Yoga is a healthy and mindful way to look after yourself. Enrich your life with focus, clarity and harmony.

Intro Teachers

You don’t need to be flexible to practice yoga! Flexibility is one of the many benefits of yoga; along with strength and stability.
Yogaha introductory courses are suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. The classes are designed for those who have no previous experience of yoga and provide the foundation for the development of a regular yoga practice. Students will learn introductory yoga postures, referred to as asanas, which form the basis of Iyengar Yoga. The word Yoga, is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning “union”. Yoga creates balance and harmony of the mind, body and soul.

Intro Course

The introductory courses are taught in a warm, friendly atmosphere, with a focus on individual attention and support. You will be guided by experienced Iyengar Yoga teachers and practitioners in a way that helps build physical strength, sharpen mental clarity and develop confidence.

Yoga aims to alleviate stiffness, increase mobility, strength and flexibility. The use of aids and props in Iyengar Yoga, makes yoga accessible to everyone.

A regular yoga practice helps develop focus, mental alertness, emotional strength and a quiet, restful mind.

Benefits of practising Iyengar Yoga include:

  • Improved posture
  • Increased stamina and endurance
  • Strong, tone and firm muscles
  • Improve mental clarity and alertness
  • Relieved pain from existing health problems such as back, shoulder and neck pain
